Got this place to go and can’t wait to come back and order again. The al pastor actually has pina. The rice and beans are so flavorful. The service was fast. The limes were actually juicy. And the salsa trio was fuego! 12/10 experience!

I could cry. I live on the north side right now up in Roger’s park....the Best tacos I’ve had in so long. The flavor was perfect. Beans and rice with actual seasoning?!?! The north side could never.

Great little spot I decided to take my girls. Food came fairly quickly. The guacamole was delicious and so fresh! It was my favorite part of the meal, I ate it with everything! I got the shrimp fajita plate and two tacos (asada and pastor), all the food was homey and tasted great! Kiddos got chicken tacos, they ate it all up. Server wasn’t as attentive but she was tending to everyone, had to ask her for water even. Busy place but a definite must try if you’re in the mood for tacos and are in the neighborhood.

I’ve been coming to this place since it was on armitage! I’ve sent so many friends and tourists to El Heredero because she never fails. lord have mercy it only got better! I didn’t even think that was possible. If you’re looking for a place with fire food, great people and service come here!

Amazing food for the price range, some of the best horchata I’ve EVER had! The lady who checked me and my boyfriend out at the register was so so sweet and nice as well :)

I ordered DoorDash, the food was good. I ordered the taco meal with avocado: 3 tacos came with the meal. I got the steak, chicken and chicharron (the chicharron had salsa verde and it was too spicy for me). It came with a side of rice and beans. It was good, I will order again.

YIKES, what did I just stumble upon! The steak at this place is not your average steak, this taste exactly like the arachera your family grills outside on the grill!! So much flavor, one bite and this place immediately jumped to my new favorite steak taco spot. My bf got the steak burrito and was equally surprised at how amazing it was. The word "wow" literally came out of our mouths. Seriously, don't skip this place. You can thank me later...in tacos.

Best Mexican food I’ve ever had. The torta was pillowy, the sauce set up was perfect, the accompaniments were juicy and plentiful. I loved the decor of the space and it felt so authentic. I hope this place stays around for a long long time. Will most definitely be back.
